Nothing like not updating your site for a while. I digress...

The bike ride started today and 18 riders left from Boston's City Hall Plaza this morning. They are currently on the NE side of Long Island, NY and will be riding to Toms River, NJ tomorrow.

The raffle sweater is DONE, DONE, DONE! I'll get pix up as soon as I can.

Tickets for the sweater raffle are $5 each or $20 for 5 (five) tickets. It's a mans large so it will fit a wide variety of people. We also have raffle tickets available for the Harley Davidson pictured below. They're $100 each. We also have hats on hand and they're $15 each. ALL proceeds go to the COPS KIDS program. This is the Harley Davidson that will be raffled on March 28th. Tickets will be available I believe as of Friday of this week. EMAIL for more information about getting one.

The color is a bit deeper than shown in the picture. The flash brightened things up a bit. I suppose I could have waited until tomorrow and taken a picture in natural light, but I'll wait and do that when it's completely done. (Hopefully in the next week or so.) Considering it's been just over 3 weeks since I started I think I'm doing pretty good with it.

Ok, Ray went to a meeting about the ride last night. The itinerary is tentatively scheduled.

I heard from Ray that there was talk of WAAF doing a remote broadcast/music there that night, but have not got confirmation of that for sure, so don't hold me to it. ;-)


Hats and T-shirts are still available. They're being sold this weekend again at the Bayside Expo Center at the motorcycle show and other upcoming shows. Be sure to stop by and help the guys out if you're going to the shows. There is also a benefit hockey game coming up and I'll post about it as soon as I get the dates.

The sweater for the raffle has been started! It's a shade of blue called "peacock". It's very gender neutral and passed Ray's approval, and the husband of a good friend of mine. It will likely be a mens size large but that's the beauteous thing about wool sweaters... even on a smaller framed woman they still work nicely. Especially here in the Northeast where we've had tons of snow. I'll post pix as it progresses!
